Belly Up is great for shoots if you know where to position yourself. This shot is from the sound board behind the stage.

Another from behnd the stage. They're ligthting crew is very photog friendly.

Belly Up also has some nice, bright, crowd filling lights. It depends on the act, but if you wait long enough theres usually a pattern. It never hurts to know the music of the band you're shooting so you can anticipate the ligthing/song changes.
